Hi -
We hope you're having a great week!
Below is a run down of the speakers and topics covered. Please note, there was so much great information exchanged during this call that we will be breaking it up into two or three separate emails. This one will focus on the speakers/topics and a piece of great news we thought you should know about.
1) Jenny gave a brief overview of the National Marketing meeting which was held Thursday, November 4th in an effort to get a unification of messaging at the national level pushed out through all groups/individuals. Many people have shared graphics and ideas with us. Thank you - we are collecting the links and files and will be putting them all in one place as soon as it's ready! We talked about having one or two days a week where we all push info out on social
media (until we have more unified messaging). We will be sending out a separate email with just resources and attachments to use for social media posts - so make sure to keep an eye out!
Q&A
2) Mark Graham gave a great presentation on the Front Lawn Ordinance which he was instrumental in passing in his town of Elk Grove, CA. Mark said he will share his slides with us, however were unable to obtain them before sending out this email. We will send the in our next email (tomorrow).
Q&A and a great discussion followed.
3) Odette Wilkens had a lot to cover with the little time that was left in the call, however she updated us on what is going on in NYC with the jumbo 5G antennas and kiosks. She is also working on a project to notify state Attorney Generals of the implications of the August 13th ruling.
Odette mentioned a name we've been considering for this coalition of sorts as well: Let us know what you think of Safe Technology Alliance of AmeRica (STAR). Odette's slides are attached to this email for your viewing pleasure.
Finally, it was brought up that December 5th was to be the date telecoms planned to turn on a new 5G frequency band, but we have some good news.
Ok, that's it for now! We have much more to share with you, so will be back tomorrow with the second installment.
Sincerely,
Jenny DeMarco
