Hi ,
We hope you're having a great week. We have a lot of information in our National Call follow-up email for you today, so let's get down to business:
First, here is the replay of our National Call for Safe Technology from Friday, January 7th:
Our first speaker of the call was Doug Wood with American's for Responsible Technology who (along with co-petitioners you can see here) filed a historic legal petition on December 21, 2021 with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), setting out the reasons why the FDA should immediately issue an "Imminent Hazard" declaration regarding public exposure to wireless radiation emitted by consumer wireless devices.
*ACTION ITEM*: The FDA has opened a "docket" on the petition, and it is imperative that we get as many comments about this legal action on the FDA website as possible. You can find out more info and examples of comments HERE, or you can go directly to the FDA docket HERE.
Our second speakers were videographer and filmmaker Cory Dobbs and Cindy Franklin, Founder of Consumers for Safe Cell Phones. Cory and Cindy presented on their digital social media marketing campaign which they're planning to launch in the near future.
Following our speakers, we opened the discussion to talk about updates from groups and individuals.
Paul G. shared:
"Idahoans for Safe Technology is raising money to fund a lawsuit against parties operating RF Microwave radiation frequencies above 6,000 MHz, because as of Aug 13, 2020 there is no Federal Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) guideline for RF Microwave radiation frequencies above 6,000 MHz.
The Aug 13, 2021 Children’s Health Defense vs FCC US Court of Appeals, DC Circuit decision ruled that the FCC's Dec 2019 Order that attempted to extend SAR to frequencies above 6,000 MHz was arbitrary, capricious and unlawful. Therefore, there is no basis for any operational permit for any Wireless Telecommunications Facility (WTF) transmitting RF Microwave radiation frequencies above 6,000 MHz at this time; such WTFs must be powered off until the FCC
completes its court-mandated environmental review."
Kent Chamberlin, PhD made a video to accompany a new New Hampshire bill, HB1644, which "requires telecommunication antennas be placed at least 1,640 feet from residentially zoned areas, parks, playgrounds, hospitals, nursing homes, day care centers, and schools...and creates a registry for anyone experiencing symptoms of radiation exposure."
You can read the bill HERE and watch Kent's video HERE
Les Jamieson mentioned some great news about fiber optic installation in East Hartford, CT, which is shooting to be "the first town in the state with full fiber optic coverage."
See more about "FiberCity" HERE.
Cece Doucette from Massachusetts for Safe Technology updated us on a new resolution by the Massachusetts Medical Society and the importance of getting your Medical Society behind this issue.
Cece also reminded us that medical/health professionals will lose their opportunity for CME's and CE's from the medical conference on EMF in May. Here is the link to purchase the conference: https://emfconference2021.com/
And here is a draft fact sheet Cece worked on for the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, Bureau of Environmental Health.
Mary Anne Tierney let us know that a team from the Building Biology Institute seek to host another CME course and are in need some generous donations to make this a reality.
If you know of anyone who can help them, please contact her at MAT@BlueRidgeEMFSolutions.com

Magda Havas informed us that the IAFF recognizes the adverse health effects of cell towers on fire halls.
And finally, we talked about the new campaign launched by the National Health Federation (with the help of Virginians for Safe Technology) calling for a Congressional Hearing on the wireless radiation issues and FCC capture.
CLICK HERE to send a letter to your representative and senators and PLEASE share this far and wide! We need to get this issue in front of Congress ASAP.
If there are any links/info that was mentioned during the call which was not included, please let us know and we'll be sure to send it out in the next email. We already have some more information to share with you soon!
Sincerely,
Jenny DeMarco
