Hi ,
We hope your week is off to a great start. Here is the follow up email to the National Call for Safe Technology call on Friday, January 28th.
**Please note - the video cuts out about three quarter of the way through and there is a gap before record was hit again. Apologies for anything missed.
And here is just some of what was discussed on Friday (keep in mind this isn't everything - there was a lot!):
NTIA Comments on Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act monies are due February 4, 2022 at 5 p.m. EST.
Two working groups from our movement are working on responses: the F-Troupe and a separate working group Odette is heading up. This discussion lead to how Telecom companies were heavily subsidized and then diverted funds to their wireless enterprises.
Several informative links were shared with Bruce Kushnick's work, including his book
An update of rebuttals to the JAMA article published December 9th:
Joel Moskowitz, Ph.D. mentioned he's not sure how this article passed peer review because it was so outlandish. Here is Dr. Moskowitz's rebuttal to Grimes: https://bit.ly/GrimesRebuttal
And two more links and a quote from Dr. Moskowitz: The industry's big lie: "there is consensus in the scientific community that wireless is safe. Not so."
During open discussions from the floor, Cece Doucette from Massachusetts for Safe Technology updated us on the bills in NH and MA. Since Friday's updates are already old news, tonight we are going to share MA for Safe Tech's latest email!:
1. Massachusetts:
2. New Hampshire:
Excellent progress! Here is the hearing for NH HB1644 hearing, part one below. Next hearing is Monday, February 7. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TnFBpyh0OCo&t=325s
We've helped the House Committee on Science, Technology and Energy begin to understand wireless risks and they are now holding a sub-committee work session this week to delve further! Please send comments of support and insight ASAP!
3. FDA Petition:
Odette also addressed some of the false statements made in an email by an individual recently, the FDA panel nominations, plus we had a discussion of the name of this national group.
We will be sending out a separate email once we've compiled all the suggestions into a survey program!
Ok, that's it for now. We'll back soon with more updates/information soon.
