Hi ,
We've attached draft comments regarding the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Guidelines for 5G Cybersecurity. They are due for submission tomorrow (Monday, June 27th) and Odette will submit them late on Monday.
Essentially, the comments say that 5G cannot be secure, that the IoT will make the cyber risks unquantifiable when billions of devices are connected, and that the NIST Guidelines are designed to place the burden of risk on the customer while absolving the providers from liability.
Please feel free to provide any edits. Odette drafted this in one day, so there may be some edits to make and she will be cleaning up the formatting of the document and footnotes.
If you would like to join in this submission, please email us back ASAP with your authorization and whether you as an individual or as part of your organization will be joining.
Please provide:
- your full name
- the full name of your organization and
- city and state
Many thanks,
