Update on NY City 5G Showdown by Odette:
The moratorium on all 5G monopole/kiosk installations in the UES was passed by a majority vote of the full board of Community Board 8, the most powerful community board in NYC. It now goes to the Manhattan Borough President and the Mayor.
Watch how the unanimous opposition unfolds (enjoy!) - there were about 30 commenters at CB 8. No one spoke in favor,: https://www.cb8m.com/event/24978/
There are still
three families without power (two since November 9th & one since November 18th) because they tried to keep analog meters on their homes after their meter was changed out against their will or without their knowledge.
Each family without power is now exploring different approaches, as Virginians for Safe Technology, Children's Health Defense Virginia Chapter, and other groups approach the State Corporation Commission, Legislators, and Public
Education/Action.
From the article listed above: The five board members will seek experts’ opinions and discuss questions raised by constituents during a closed session Dec. 20 [today]. The board scheduled another public hearing and
the final vote for Jan. 10, 2023.

ADDITIONAL ITEMS
We discussed feedback on Bill Bathgate's presentation and what we could cover next
time he is on the National Call in January - this included a great discussion about frequencies, protection devices, and how all these wireless devices interact with one another.
Erica Rosenberg, former FCC NEPA Attorney, is coming back in January as well, please send questions or topic suggestions for her time with us.
Larry Ortega had a good idea about
approaching the wireless/5G issue from a financial/liability/investor standpoint with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Anyone interested in discussing further the SEC strategy that will call for them to investigate the claims made by the wireless company on profitably without disclosing true exposure/risk, feel free to email Larry at LA@LAOrtega.com
Sidnee Cox said she came across an interesting website you might be interested in subscribing to. It's free for 90 days. It's “Inside Towers” specifically for people in the Wireless industry. It's fascinating to read, especially FCC info. “Inside Towers is written for wireless infrastructure professionals.” https://insidetowers.com
