The cell phone that we carry everywhere and that most children are attached to 24/7 is not as safe as industry and regulators say it is. More and more we are bathed in radiation from so many wireless devices, (smartphones, speakers, baby monitors, doorbells, wearables, and antennas to name only a few). What could this mean for our health and especially the health of vulnerable populations? Many cancers take decades to develop; we have been warned that children are at great risk but this is not reaching the general
public.
In 2021, the Environmental Working Group (EWG) funded a peer-reviewed study, to research the health impacts of exposure to wireless radiation. The study concluded the need for much more stringent health-based exposure standards for both children (200-400X stronger) and adults for radio frequency electromagnetic radiation emitted from wireless devices. But those in charge of this are ignoring all science and kowtowing to the wireless industry.
Sadly, news of this research and the findings of the multi decade $30M National Toxicology Program study completed in 2018 failed to reach the public.
The study found CLEAR EVIDENCE that this radiation causes cancer.
Few media outlets have covered this and other peer reviewed research because the telecom industry (with ties to media) wants to keep scientific findings out of the public's reach. Think tobacco, but this is far worse.
The California Brain Tumor Association along with other petitioners recently petitioned the FDA (who supposedly
oversees radiation emitting devices) demanding they do their job.
On June 21 from 1:00-2:00 pm EST/10 PST, please join a webinar discussion to hear from preeminent environmental health scientists:
Linda Birnbaum, PhD, retired from her 40 year tenure as a scientist and toxicologist with the Federal Government in 2019. Her last position was the Director of the National Institute of Environmental Health Science and the National Toxicology Program where she directed the $30 million cell phone exposure research project. Prior to that
she led the largest environmental health research division at the EPA and established an environmental justice unit.
And:
Pete Myers', who founded the NGO Environmental Health Sciences, began work with the Endocrine Society decades ago and their scientific contributions resulted in major science and policy shifts in the US and Europe. In fact the common term "Endocrine Disrupting Chemicals" emerged from that work and today, there's public awareness about the harmful effects of EDCs. His work continues and he remains on an international panel of scientists who
meet regularly to share environmental science on this topic and many others he serves on several boards. In 2016 he was one of the first 11 recipients “Champion of Environmental Health Research.”
Please join me on June 21, 1:00-2:00pm EST in a thoughtful discussion about how we can address this exponentially increasing health hazard and advocate for safer technologies and practices that actually already exist.

We remain committed to this critical issue as it affects everyone, especially our children and
grandchildren, who will have a lifetime of exposure. Thank you.
