Hello Everyone,
Many federal industry bills are moving quickly through the House and Senate, and some are set for a vote any day now. Time is of
the essence to educate our legislators. The time is now!
Here is information about these bills so that you can become acquainted with them and educate our federal legislators (both U.S. Reps and
Senators) as the bills are in both chambers. Here are 2 categories of documents, one focusing on national security and cybersecurity and the second focusing on losing local control over wireless permitting and preempting federal statutes requiring environmental and historic preservation review. For each category, there is a one page fact sheet and a document with a fuller analysis - so 4 documents.
Also see https://ehtrust.org/congress/ for more info, including fact
sheets and a comprehensive spreadsheet of all bills being tracked (over 50 bills).

These federal bills are running against the tide of opposition in the U.S..
The professed purpose of removing regulatory barriers is a euphemism for removing our voices. We need to amplify our voices.
Check to see if your legislators are in any of the House or Senate Committees on
Commerce, Natural Resources, Transportation and Infrastructure, Agriculture, Armed Services, National/Homeland Security, Communications Media & Broadband, Rules. Focus on their concerns when educating them. Educate your legislators whether on any of these committees or not.
Please let us know if you have any questions. We will dedicate next week's National Call mostly on these bills and updates.
