Hello Everyone,
We are planning a virtual Town Hall #4 on
Broadband Freedom of Choice as a blueprint for success in NYC and other cities around the country, and really bridging the digital divide. It will be held on Wednesday, Sept 6, 2023, 4-6pm EST. We’re pleased to have the following presenters:
- Gigi Sohn, Pres. Biden’s former nominee for Commissioner of the FCC, who has been a public advocate
for consumer choice
- Kimberly McKinley, Senior Marketing Officer of Utopia Fiber, consisting of a group of 11 cities in Utah that have pioneered a municipal owned, open access fiber network that gives consumers broadband freedom of choice.
- Tim Schoechle, an international communications consultant and expert on fiber, who will cover how 5G is no substitute for fiber, as fiber surpasses wireless in
connecting people at affordable prices and at speeds and capacity far surpassing wireless, including 5G.
Please let us know if you’d like to co-sponsor this exciting Town Hall with us by 5pm EST tomorrow (Wednesday, August 29, 2023) by responding back to this email.
If you have a logo, please forward your logo and we will post it on the flyer.
As a co-sponsor, we simply ask that you send the flyer (which you’ll be receiving shortly) to your email lists as we’d like to get this information to as many people as possible.
Looking forward to seeing you at our virtual Town Hall.
