Since April 3, 2023, the date we passed the new telecom ordinance, Verizon has left White Plains' neighborhoods alone. Zero applications. What's more, the 11 antenna proposals that were submitted prior to the ordinance have been held to the new standards. We have not been threatened by any new installations.
This positive news has allowed me to move on to a project that's near and dear to my
heart... raising awareness of EMF-related illness across the globe. This modern scourge severely impacts around 2 million people in the U.S. (including me) and goes by many names: ElectroHypersensitivity, Electromagnetic Sensitivity, ElectroSensitivity, Microwave Syndrome, Radiation Sickness, and more. The multiplicity of names is fragmenting our message to the world and weakening efforts to achieve needed rights and services. As a result, here in the
cradle of White Plains, I initiated the OneName Project, a bold endeavor to bring the community of the EMF-Disabled together under one name. The project quickly attracted an A-one team of nationally known advocates, including Prof. and Chair Kent Chamberlin, Ph.D., who sat on the prestigious New Hampshire Commission to study the health effects of wireless
technology.
The OneName Project is on track to significantly raise awareness of EMF-related illness and make it part of the public conversation. From one name comes everything. Here's how you can help:
Please go to https://groups.io/g/OneName, scroll down, and click "Join This Group" in the
