From Sharon Behn: Even though the ADA can protect us, we need to know how to utilize the law. Attorneys most often are not needed to negotiate ADA accommodations. Then, knowing how to ask for an accommodation and what is legally required to do so, and also most effective to say, is crucial to the negotiation. Familiarizing
yourself with the ADA is very helpful for getting accommodations you need - such as rental car companies, airlines, housing,etc. This seminar should be informative on this subject.
