On February 13, RFK Jr. was sworn in as Secretary of U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services.  It was reported that there over 600 calls a minute that overwhelmed the congressional phone system for RFK's and others' confirmations. With an executive order establishing the Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) Commission, RFK has a green light to study potential contributors to childhood chronic disease, “including . . . environmental factors, Government policies, . . . electromagnetic radiation, and corporate influence or cronyism.”

Science

Using ultrasound, researchers working with the Environmental Health Trust have found that exposure to an active cell phone can cause red blood cells to clump together. This phenomenon is known as "rouleaux formation."

BEAD Program Continues?

The Trump White House asserts that his order to pause funding under the $42.5 billion Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment program (BEAD) would not cover broadband. States have been complaining that although they've completed BEAD paperwork and qualify, broadband funding has been paused.

 A report by Richard Lear and Camilla Rees, released on Feb. 6 as a preprint on ResearchGate, reveals how a 1971 U.S. Naval Medical Research Institute study (50 years ago) identified 132 biological effects and 23 chronic diseases linked to EMR.
