We just learned that the budget reconciliation bill will be considered by the Energy & Commerce Committee for a vote tomorrow, May 13 at 2pm. The bill will include expanding FCC's spectrum auction authority, which means more antennas and cell towers.

 

Please contact your U.S. Representative in Congress that is on the Energy & Commerce Committee.  See list of Committee members: https://energycommerce.house.gov/representatives. 

 

The ask: remove Sec 43101 of Subtitle C, Part 1,  or insert our recommended amendments in Sec 43101 as set forth in this letter: https://thenationalcall.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Senate-commerce-NC4ST-2-19-24-FINAL.pdf (typo in the document name, the correct date is 2-19-25).

 

In our February 19, 2025 letter, we recommended language be inserted that conditions FCC's spectrum auction authority on its compliance with the 2021 D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals court order to review the scientific evidence of biological effects of RF radiation within its limits and to revisit the FCC's limits.  The FCC has not yet complied with the court order.
