Kudos to everyone who submitted comments on FCC Docket 25-276, which would greatly undermine local control of cell towers.  There are now 3,530 comments on the docket, with more to come during the "reply comment" period.

As we start off 2026, an important action you can take to help stop the proliferation of un-needed cell towers is to sign the Snowflake, AZ residents' petition opposing the installation of a 120 foot Verizon cell tower.  Many in the community suffer from Electromagnetic Radiation Syndrome and settled there specifically to avoid RF radiation. 

The tower is being pushed by SBA Communications, a cell tower site development company, despite adequate cell coverage from a nearby tower and despite Navajo County’s previous decision to deny the tower. You can learn more about the situation here.
