NYS/NYC Internet and Digital Equity Listening Session. This will allow you to give comments remotely during the public session. Public 6 – 7:30 pm. I will let you know later how to submit written comments.

It is crucial that you give your comments so that you are heard. A couple of talking points:
- Note that the
itinerary below limits “barriers” to infrastructure and socioeconomic barriers. Throughout the Link5G process, we have observed that the biggest barrier has been OTI’s refusal to accept meaningful community input on whether Link5G is wanted at all and foreclosing the possibility of fiber to the premises for faster and larger capacity, and safer and more secure service.
- NTIA will be there, and they have set a fiber-first federal priority for fiber to the premises from Biden’s Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. Why is NYC not availing itself of this one-time opportunity to invest in fiber to the premises, not fiber to a 5G wireless node?
