Hello Everyone,

Our meeting this week will be on Thursday, Oct 5th, 2-3:30pm. We have heard from safe technology organizations that radio frequency radiation is expected to be very strong at that time, and to turn off mobile devices and Wi-Fi -- cell phones, tablets, computers, Wi-Fi routers, TVs, radio, etc. Whatever the case may be, we are taking precautions for tomorrow.  

Therefore, we hope you'll be able to make the meeting on Thursday.  We will have our meeting next week on our regularly scheduled day and time, Wed, 2-3:30pm.

Quick agenda for Thursday: 

1. Follow up on Sec 106 review and updates
2. Upcoming educational outreach - community board meetings: MCB3, MCB7, MCB12, BkCB5, BxCB2, BxCB5, SICB1, SICB# (see attached list of Equity Districts getting the nost 5G towers).
3. Update on federal bills that threaten to eliminate local control over wireless permitting/placement, prohibit moratoria and eliminate NEPA and NHPA reviews.

See updated fact sheets on the relevant bills that are being fast tracked in Congress and the Senate.  It's important to

educate the City Council, NYS legislators, and the NYC delegation of US Reps and Senators on the issues.
