We are preparing a submission to the FCC as they are proposing to reinstate net neutrality. It is due tomorrow, Thursday, Dec 14, 2023.
The problem is that the way in which the FCC is proposing to accomplish
its net neutrality goals for wireless data would have a "side effect" of increased preemption over local zoning authority for wireless facilities, such as the 5G towers in NYC. Our comments focus on preserving local zoning authority and the impact on those disabled by electro-magnetic radiation. We have proposed an alternative approach for the FCC to accomplish its net neutrality goals without increasing preemption over local zoning authority.
Please let us know if you'd like to sign on to the attached submission. Sign-ons are due tomorrow, Thursday, Dec 14, 2023 by 8pm ET. Please respond to this email and send:
- Your name
- Organization (if applicable), and the number of people in your organization (we may disclose the
aggregate number of people in all organizations)
- NYC County
- If outside NYC or out of state, then City, State
