Your US Representative is voting for federal bills that will wipe out all of our successes opposing the 5G Towers in NYC and will take away our local control. We need to change that. We need to give them the information they need to oppose these bills.
Although 25% of NYC residents have successfully opposed the 5G Towers (through community board moratoria and disapproval letters), and although the 5G Towers must go through federal environmental and historic preservation reviews, many federal telecom bills in Congress threaten to reverse all of those successes in NYC. The FCC Net Neutrality Rule just passed last week has language that also threatens to reverse those
successes.
That is why we are including you in this notice of meeting to discuss these federal bills. Our NYC congressional delegation is voting in lockstep to pass these telecom bills.
The
meetings are every Thursday 4-6pm ET. We are working with a larger group, The National Call for Safe Technology. Nationwide, we’re experiencing the same issues.
