25% of NYC residents are saying "NO" to 5G Towers. We need to say "NO" to federal telecom bills that will wipe out our successes. Many of our US
Representatives and Senators are in favor of these pro-telecom bills. We need to change that.
For updates on bills and a recap of the prior (118th) Congress, see:
UPDATES: The House Energy and Commerce Committee (E&C) held a bill mark-up session on Tues, 3-4-25 for about 12 bills, 4 of which we sought amendments or where we
opposed the bills. While the bill allocating more spectrum authority was pulled, the cybersecurity bill explicitly excluding review of 5G cybersecurity passed. We were glad to see the former, but not the latter.
On 3-5-25 the House Communications & Technology Subcommittee of E&C held a hearing on rural broadband
and eliminating "red tape" which means taking away our rights to oppose the irresponsible placement of wireless antennas.
We have a new Congressional session, so the bills listed below would need to be reintroduced. You should still contact your US Rep and Senators to alert them as these bills will probably be resurrected with new
bill numbers.
Speak out, while we still can!
