NYC Council Committee on Technology is holding a hearing on Tuesday, April 29 at 10:00 a.m. in City Hall’s Committee Room. "This hearing, chaired by Council Member Jennifer Gutiérrez, will focus on oversight of the City’s plan to connect all New Yorkers to the internet and consider a package of legislation aimed at closing the digital
divide."
We ALL need to be at this hearing to give our testimony. Please be there to testify.

You're invited to give testimony on several bills, that would include commenting on the 5G Tower debacle. The Tech Committee describes the following bills that are supposed
to:
- Improve outreach and reporting on discounted internet programs (Int 198)
- Increase access to community broadband options (Int 481, 483, 486)
- Increase transparency around cable franchise agreements (Int 878)
- Require the City to create and implement a broadband expansion plan (Resurrecting the Internet Master Plan) (Int 1122)
